Time off from Riding
« on: 03/15/11 10:09AM »
Hey Guys!! For those of you who don't already know, I'm now 4 months pregnant. Mark and I are very excited!  :) Of course that means no riding for me for awhile. It's torture not being able to ride, but in the end it will be so worth it. I'm gonna miss riding with you guys...I already do... Y'all enjoy this riding season for me, and I'll be back on two wheels with you guys as soon as I have the baby and get settled in as a mommy :)

Congratulations Tiffany!!! That's great news.  We'll miss you, but you should drop by a bike night every so often even if you come in a cage! :)

Thanks, Chef! You are so right...It will be worth it :)

Thanks, Darrin! I will definitely be back to riding. I love it too much not to. I truly believe that motorcycles and riding will always be a part of my life. I realize that once I do have the baby I won't be able to just jump on my bike and ride whenever I want to or as often as I will want to. But, I will definitely be back to riding :) We've known for awhile that we want kid(s). One of the main reasons Mark and I put off having kids for the past few years was our passion for riding. We just love it so much. BUT, I'm not getting any younger, and we both are at a point in our lives where we are ready. It will be big change in lifestyle, but it'll be a good change. I believe that if you really love doing something, you can find a way to incorporate it into your life. :)

Sounds good!!

Having kids tend to re-define everything in one's life.

Do you guys know boy/girl yet?  Due in August?  Names?  Gotta have a cool Road-Racer name, just in case?!?!?  ;D

I'm due August 19th. We'll find out if it's a girl or boy in two weeks. We have a boy and girl name that we like, but we haven't decided on one yet. I figure once we find out if it's a boy or girl, I'll really start brainstorming some ideas for names.  :)

Congrats Mark and Tiff....I am very happy for both of you. As Darrin said children really do re-define  everything your life. It is no easy road, but a road th at you would never regret going down.

Now for the real important stuff....baby pool.....bahahahaha we need all the details...If in fact if August is the due date...I'm taking Aug 6th as a birth-date......10.00 gets you in for betting and 100% goes to the baby's first Honda.... We just get bragging rights amongst all of us. All bet money should go to Zach.....(I think we all know why) they tend to never lose money.

Thanks, Don!

Baby pool!! Love the idea!!  ;D  I'd have no problem at all with the baby's first bike being a Honda.  I love Hondas :)  Even though my due date is August 19th, I'm pretty sure it won't come on that exact date...it usually doesn't. haha.... I'll go with August 22nd  ;D

Yep, only 2% come on the due date... My first did, but my second was a week early.  I was actually a month and a day late, over 10lbs... they dont let that happen any more.  But I did come out on my mom's b-day.  Such a nice way to spend your b-day!!
