SV Monster Project
« on: 07/09/11 05:23PM »
Hey guys,

I figured that instead of taking up a bunch of threads I should just create a master thread for my upgrades. I plan on doing some more mods and I don't want to be a thread hog  ;D

Well to start off my rear sprocket came in today and it is sexy! Thanks 2 spadoc79 and Zach for recommending Supersprox!

I picked up the K&N filter on Wed (Thanks Orion's)

My front sprocket and chain should be in on Tuesday or Wednesday, also I hope my stands come in next week :)

Most of my mods are cosmetic right now. I got some D&D cans, Zero Gravity tinted windscreen, lower fairings, custom CNC machined spike grips (I love these  ;D), 6000k HID kit, rear seat cowl, and custom chrome caps for the master cylinder and clutch resevoir. After upgrading the gearing I plan on getting a Power Commander and a GIpro gear indicator with the TRE.

So I got some sv monster decals since it is going to be the theme of my bike...the only problem is that my BLOODY BIKE IS BLACK! and the decals are black 2  :banghead:

I really hope the grey outline will show the monster M

I know you wanna try and keep it lcal and all but this guy is SUPER nice and reasonable. I dont think he currently has any SV stuff on here yet Yogi but contact him and I'd be willing to bet he would make it for you! The full original decal kit for my bike was only gonna cost me 30 bucks! He has a wide variety of colors too! the colors on the computer I don't think represent actual colors well but just contact him. He seemed very straight up kind of guy.

Sprockets and chain are on YAY! Next step power commander I need one so bad...This will help smooth out my acceleration. But first I am going to clean my injectors, fuel filter, and tank.

Yogi that all sounds great man I rear fly had to get a chain and front sprocket. Waiting on the chain now ;(. Don't look like I'll be riding this weekend!  Power commander sounds like a good way to tame the beast!  Hook luck with the rest of ur upgrades.

Where is the cheapest place I can find a PC III? The lowest I found was on motorcycle superstore for $287.96 with free s&h.

I ordered my PC III today, and I can't wait! I also got some frame sliders, and a smoked led brake light with integrated signals. She is almost there, just a lil more modz and I am done for a while

I am going to install the PC III before heading over to Millers! Frame sliders were installed, and I need to order another tail light because I think I burned the right blinker  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Just ordered the PAIR removal kit for the SV  ;D

hey yogi nice man.  I got rid of my lower fairings due to the wishbone s are just for looks because the welding job on them are not strong at all.  What i did was cut the fairings so the sliders that bolt to the frame would match up and used fiber glass repair and matching paint to cover up the existing holes.  If you are interested in doing this and making those sliders functional then let me know bruh.  Also what grade of gas to you use?

I read on an old post that decals give you more hp. How much hp do you think I added? :)
