I talk to a guy at TPS and they said they can do it this Tuesday since the Dyno will be in town, not  sure of the price though. There are doing Dyno runs tomorrow @ Miller's from 6-10 for free so you can see where your HP is at and determine how good the map on your PCIII is.

Call Turn-One Performance in Pensacola.  Talk to the owner John.  He is a racer, and really knows his **** with tuning. Tell him Darrin (Control Rider from Jennings) sent ya.  He is also a Control Rider and really nice guy.  Anyone can tune for a peak number, but what you really want is the max 'under the curve' or throughout the powerband.  I wouldnt let TPS tune my Zuma!

oh...well everyone has their own opinion, it is what it is and you can't make everyone happy.  I know Tps has a good group of guys working for them and are the proud presenting sponsor for the supermoto on sunday!! Who's going? It should be one hell of a good time..

Is that this Sunday? First I've heard of it. Oh well, probably a bit loud for the baby anyways. Hope they're still doing it in four years. :)

There has been billboards all over tally and most radio stations have been broadcasting it where have you been?? haha I hear ya on the baby, my daughter will be 1 on the 20th of this month, but she loves everything about motorcycles so I'm sure she'll have a good time over there.  Congrats again on the little one!

Thanks! It's a foreign concept to me that a baby can "like" anything yet. Except food; boy does he like food. :)

Hope y'all have fun. We enjoyed it the last time we went. Hopefully, we can go next year.

Uhg 3 hour drive to turn-one performance, I guess you gotta pay to play though huh?  if TPS can dyno and not tune it may be helpfull, but Id rather have some one who can tune also. Thanks all for the help, going to debate the ride out there.

Just getting a number wont do you much good.  Just a 'snap shot' of your current horsepower.  The operator of the dyno has a lot to do with the number.  You really need the fuel/air ratio throughout the powerband to see what is going on.  On top of that, you need that info at both partial throttle and wide-open throttle. John does a tune that covers both, so either way the bike runs well.  Not just one or the other.  Lot more to it than meets the eye.  TPS can only give you a hp number, which is really useless for anything other than bragging rights.

If you want your bike to run better, than have someone that knows what they are doing, tune your bike.

It also depends what your goals are with your bike.  I have an 08 GSXR 1000 that I ride/instruct with on the track. It doesnt have any type of PC 2 or 3 or whatever. It has never been on any dyno or had any tuning. It seems to get around the track just fine for what it is.

Spend the money on your riding skills.... blah blah blah... not on the bike that you will only have for a couple of years.  Your riding skills go with you to your next bike...... anyway, good luck!

Hey man, TPS gives you the HP,TORQUE, air/fuel, and ofcourse the speed all on one print out, not just HP.  If you had any questions or concerns about your chassis, motor/clutch, we could do a few runs to figure out if they are all in check as well.
If you ever have any questions what TPS can do just shoot 'em a phone call and see if they can be any assistance.  That way you know EXACTLY what goes on.
