Once you've taken a little while to look around, feel free to let us know what you think of the new forum.  Got any suggestions?  We'd love to hear them!

Not a problem for me, but all the font seems really tiny compared to TSS.

Yeah, Tiff mentioned that, too.  I'll see if I can find the style that controls font sizes and bump it up a little.

LOL  Naw, it's the same software, so you shouldn't have to learn anything new.  :)  And I bumped up the font sizes, so that's not a problem anymore.

I like everything about it so far minus one thing.  There may be a tad too many "sections" to the forum.  I think you'll find that just like the last TSS Forum, a lot of these subsections will go unused and will make the place look vacant, when in-fact its not really vacant at all.  I think you could get away with a General Discussion, Classified, Local Rides, and 1 or two others.  I'm on forums with 6,000+ members that have maybe 10 subsections tops and it keeps the place busy.  I think that after some period of time you can just tell what the popular sections are and start deleting the ones that are never used.

Just my opinion though.  Is there any bad blood from the old forum?  Are there certain members that will not be coming over here?

Thanks for the suggestion Kyle! I created so many boards because I hope for a very large and active community in the future. I wanted there to be a section for everyone--new riders, racers, Suzuki owners, etc. I've seen similar structures on other forums and I think it helps people focus on the topics they care about and ignore the others. But I do appreciate the suggestion, and I'll keep it in mind if we need to make any changes.

No, there is no bad blood at all between the forums.  Everyone from the old forum is welcome here, as are all sportbike riders in Tallahassee.  This isn't a group, it's a community discussion forum.

Tell anyone you meet on a sportbike. I'm thinking about designing some business-card-sized cards to pass out or leave on bikes in parking lots. Also, we'll tell Stuart and all of the local bike shops about it and have them tell their customers about it. Whatever way you want to spread the word is fine.

I agree.  I think more forums should be created as needed.  I've been on forums that started with two: public and private.  More were added as activity on a certain topic started to overrun the general forum.
