Man, I really think it's cool how when you go to the forum page it changes the picture. I think that is really cool! GReat Job!

I have seen it for awhile and just have not said anything.

Grassyass! Yeah, it randomly chooses one of the (6?) pictures each time the page loads. Hopefully next year we can add some more photos to the rotation.

I have a suggestion and maybe this has already been suggested but i didnt read threw all this what about putting the newbies introduction at the top of the forum just so they might notice it better when signing up and maybe they would be more subject to introducing theirselves?

^ I think that's a good idea! I've also thought that it's easy to miss the "Introduction" section with it being near the bottom of the page.

There is one thing I'd love to see implemented. It's called hover view. I was searching for a certain topic then went to General Discussions. I had to keep clicking on threads b/c the cursor over the thread wouldn't show an excerpt. (I thinkthats the correct word. My experience is the mod is called "hover view, or hoverview". Thanks.

There's an SMF mod that shows a preview of the first post in a thread when you hover over the thread title in the topic list. I'll see if I can find some time to install it this weekend or next.

@Gixxer32404: Yes, polls are enabled AFAIK. You should be able to create a poll in nearly any board.

@Shifted: We had a shoutbox on our forum a couple of years ago, but it seemed to cause a drop in the number of posts because people were just using the shoutbox rather than posting. That's great for the few people online at the time, but it takes away other members' ability to participate in the discussions, and it ultimately makes the forum less active. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
