So I was given a check by the truck's insurance company for damages done (still waiting on my medical bills/ pain and suffering bs check) and since Orion had done such a great job for me getting my repair estimate, I simply endorsed the check and handed it to him. I believe in buying local, and after the hard work he had done to get me the most money possible, I woulda felt like a jerk if I hadn't of spent it with him.

Instead of having him do the work, and buying exact replacement parts, I told him I would do all the work myself, and I would just use the money towards parts. Luckily I had an extra subframe ($330) and gas tank ($650) so that saved me a lot of money towards upgrades ;D

So far I've gotten my keyless gas cap (got shipped missing a screw, another one is in the mail), air filter, Puig double bubble, and rear Galfer brake line. I got more goodies coming in Tuesday.

I decided since I've got the subframe apart, to go ahead and delete the rear brake reservoir. Before you freak out, let me point out the stock reservoirs hold way more fluid than you need. Also they are just God awful to look at on my bike if you don't have rear pegs like me. So what I did was I bought clear Tygon 2075 tubing off a chemical supplier's web site, you need Tygon because brake fluid is some really nasty stuff that will eat thru plastic tubing. Then I simply took off the reservoir from the rear master cylinder, and stuck this on it. The race bikes use this for weight reduction and simplicity. I just did it because it was convenient, unique, and fixes my problem of my subframe looking like a pot rack. I later took a grinder and shaved all brackets off the subframe. I'm fashioning a cap for the Tygon Tuesday out of a hex head bolt, gotta cut the threads off it and I'm done.

Wow, I'm impressed and jealous of your knowledge of fabrication and customization. The first build came out very nice, and with $3800 to spend on just parts, I can only imagine what it'll look like when you're done.
